Skate 2 Game Review:
Attempt, masterstroke: so could we define the arrival of Electronic Arts in the small world of skateboarding in 2007. Skate has established itself immediately as the reference type on the current generation of machines , relegating the Tony Hawk series rank outsider after eight years of reigns supreme. The editor did not stop there way, we know his insatiable appetite for suites. The document here comes Skate 2 in a resounding crunch of wheels on asphalt.
Like many second opus landing after a relatively short development time on the same machine generation, Skate 2 takes over version 1.5 than the true result. Do not be surprised to find a lot of elements common to both games. This is not necessarily a criticism, because the recipe the first part worked fine, so it is normal that EA Black Box’s reliance on this strong foundation to create this new version. One finds the simulation oriented gameplay that made the success of Skate, based on the use of both analog sticks to manage the skater and his board. A formula as intuitive as it is demanding, served by a host of small devilishly practical ideas for use as markers sessions. We will not go into detail on this gameplay already discussed at length at the time, but rather to focus on proposed new, to see if they are sufficient to justify the purchase of this iteration.
