Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Game Review:
If the last few years fighting games in 2D have made a comeback, the series switching to 3D are clearly determined to avoid being buried. SoulCalibur Tekken through Dead or Alive, licenses that made the heyday of the genre back to the front of the stage with more or less success. The arrival of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 reopens the debate: is it a title reserved for fans of the previous games or do you advise to those who seek novelty?
Is it still necessary to present the series of Tekken? Released in 1994 on Japanese arcade before landing the following year on PlayStation, the original episode was one of the first fighting games in 3D with the legendary Virtua Fighter. Suffice to say that the reputation of the licenses do not really of yesterday. The episodes are chained, regularly bringing their lots of new characters but retaining a fairly simple basic principle: most fighters clash with bare hands and this is usually the ability to get out of the monstrous combos that determines victory. The result is a gameplay that is both accessible to beginners but also particularly high technical level because the slightest misstep can leave his opponent the opportunity to send a real flurry of blows. The episode happens to us, however, is somewhat special, it’s not a stupid and evil Tekken but the result of Tekken Tag Tournament, as its name suggests, has the distinction of offering the fighting as a team.
